Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Analog Design Engineer with significant experience in designing and validating analog circuit blocks. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of analog principles, proven technical expertise in analog building blocks, and the ability to work independently and in collaborative teams on cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop analog building blocks used in SERDES, DDR, and memory designs.
- Carry out circuit simulations and validate analog circuitry against design specifications.
- Optimize designs focusing on power consumption, silicon area, and overall performance.
- Collaborate closely with product designers and layout engineers to fulfill customer requirements.
- Review designs and mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance.
- Enhance design methodologies and implement best practices to boost efficiency and quality of outputs.

- Advance the quality and reliability of analog intellectual property products to meet industry leading standards.
- Innovate in the analog design realm, pushing the boundaries of circuit performance.
- Support seamless integration of analog components within complex system-on-chip designs, enhancing product functionality.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, promoting a continuous learning culture.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects punctually and efficiently.
- Strengthen Synopsys’ standing as a top semiconductor industry leader through excellent engineering output.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree with over 8 years, or PhD with more than 6 years of pertinent analog circuit design experience.
- Solid experience with operational amplifiers, current mirrors, and bandgap references is essential.
- Desirable familiarity with SERDES PHY architectures and DDR memory technologies.
- Proficient in using CAD tools geared toward analog circuit design and simulation.
- Understanding of design reliability aspects including electromigration, IR drop, and aging effects.
- Knowledge of layout-related impacts such as device matching, reliability, and proximity effects along with hands-on layout experience.
- Experience with advanced semiconductor technologies like FinFET and Gate-All-Around.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear technical exchanges.
