Role Overview

The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer will take charge of driving quality assurance initiatives across sophisticated software platforms, ensuring products uphold rigorous standards of reliability, performance, and security. Based full-time on site in Dubai, this role involves creating and implementing detailed test plans and cases, conducting manual testing, and validating software features throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborating intimately with engineering, product management, and operational teams, the engineer will detect defects, enhance requirement definitions, and refine QA processes. Additionally, mentoring fellow QA team members on best practices and enhancing overall testing frameworks and documentation are pivotal responsibilities. This role is essential for maintaining the consistent performance of 10ix’s infrastructure solutions on a global scale.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven expertise in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance disciplines, with experience setting and sustaining quality standards for intricate systems.
• Skilled in manual testing techniques including designing test cases, conducting functional, regression, and integration tests, and meticulously documenting outcomes.
• Solid understanding of software development principles to assess system architecture, perform high-level code review, and collaborate effectively in bug resolution.
• Familiarity with test management and issue tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, and version control systems like Git is advantageous.
• Knowledge of automation testing principles, scripting languages, or use of test frameworks like Selenium or Cypress is a plus.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills suitable for a cross-functional, internationally distributed team environment.
• Experience in senior or leadership QA roles, preferably within infrastructure, platform, or enterprise software domains.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline, or comparable practical experience.
