Role Overview

As Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will inspire and guide a dynamic engineering team to deliver groundbreaking products while staying technically involved in development.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, and nurture innovation by fostering inclusion and diverse perspectives.
• Ensure high quality, availability, scalability, and resilience of software applications within the engineering studio.
• Remain current with emerging technologies and trends, participate actively in technology communities, and mentor peers within the engineering network.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum four years leading teams in agile environments.
• At least four years in direct people management, including talent growth, performance evaluation, and team development.
• A decade of practical software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with engineering best practices like security, automated testing, continuous delivery (CI/CD), high availability, and system resiliency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
• Background in full stack software development.
• Exposure to financial technology industry environments.
• Academic credentials including Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Diploma in Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience leading multiple teams and demonstrating influence on senior stakeholders (Director level and above).
• Track record managing relationships with business/product teams and external partners for at least five years.
• Four or more years leading engineers working on customer- and enterprise-facing web applications and support services.
• Extensive contribution to application and data architecture design and development over ten years.

This vacancy includes an annual salary range between $202,400 and $231,000, with eligibility for performance-related bonuses.
