Job description
Overview
Located in Dubai, UAE, Cinergie Digital seeks a seasoned Senior Software Engineer skilled in Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL to architect and maintain robust database solutions supporting essential enterprise applications. This full-time role involves hands-on involvement throughout the entire database development lifecycle, including schema design, stored procedure creation, performance optimization, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and sustain Oracle PL/SQL components such as packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Build and manage PostgreSQL elements including database objects, functions, stored procedures, and SQL queries.
- Design efficient database schemas and data models tailored to application requirements.
- Conduct SQL query tuning and workload optimization to enhance performance.
- Oversee data migration, transformation, and integration between different environments.
- Troubleshoot production database issues and lead root-cause analysis to drive resolutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to standards, maintaining comprehensive documentation and actively contributing to design reviews.
Technical Requirements
- Comprehensive experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL development, including functions and stored procedures.
- Expertise in query performance analysis and optimization.
- Strong skills in database architecture and enterprise data modeling.
- Competence in identifying and resolving database issues in live environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems and DevOps tools, particularly Git and Azure DevOps.
Candidate Profile
- Between 5 to 8 years of experience in database development, troubleshooting, and performance enhancement.
- Experience supporting critical enterprise database solutions with proven delivery success.
- Adept at collaborating with software developers, architects, and cross-disciplinary teams.
- Possesses a strong analytical approach with effective communication and documentation skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly salary between AED 10,000 and AED 13,000.
