Located in Galway, Ireland, this role focuses on developing efficient AI systems for next-generation accelerators. You'll collaborate with leading global companies and talented engineers in a dynamic, small-team environment where your input will truly make an impact. This position allows you to lead initiatives, challenge conventional methods, and transform the ML and AI landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features primarily in ML compilation technology, framework software, kernel/user-space drivers, real-time embedded software, automated testing, and performance evaluations.
- Lead significant project components and provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Work closely with machine learning hardware teams to optimize system partitioning and integration.
Candidate Profile
This role requires strong analytical acumen, a drive to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges, and comfort in a fast-evolving environment. Excellent collaboration skills are essential to work effectively across diverse teams towards shared goals.
Required Expertise
- Experience managing cross-functional projects with defined milestones and dependencies.
- Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages.
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git, Gerrit, and Repo.
- Practical understanding of agile software development practices, continuous integration, and test-driven development methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Background in Machine Learning applications and frameworks.
- Experience with compiler technology development.
- Contributions to open-source software projects.
- Knowledge of hardware architecture concepts.
