Senior Software Engineer – Calibration/Sensors/SLAM

Position Overview

Join our pioneering Calibration team as a Senior Software Engineer, where you will contribute significantly to the realization of autonomous vehicles. Collaborate with top-tier engineers and domain experts to concentrate on calibrating a full range of autonomous vehicle sensors, including Lidars, cameras, IMUs, and radars, forming the essential platform for autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy sophisticated calibration tools applicable both indoors and outdoors to enhance autonomous vehicle functionality and safety.
• Work cross-functionally with various teams to integrate calibration systems seamlessly into vehicles, ensuring superior quality and reliability.
• Leverage extensive internal datasets for the validation and effective demonstration of research and development outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline; advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) are highly favored.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of in-depth experience with calibration, localization, or SLAM in contexts such as autonomous driving, augmented reality headsets, or robotic platforms, backed by a track record of designing and executing sophisticated calibration methods.
• Demonstrate over 3 years of proficiency in C++ software development focused on creating robust, high-performance systems.
• Proven experience in leading technical development initiatives from concept through research, implementation, and successful deployment; familiarity with multi-sensor environments involving LiDAR, Radar, IMU, and Camera technologies.
• A strong commitment to continual learning, innovation, and advancing autonomous vehicle technology.
• Experience mentoring colleagues and successful collaboration within teams.

Desirable Qualifications

• Contributions to notable scientific conferences such as CVPR, ICML, NeurIPS, ICCV, or ICLR.
• Ph.D. specialization in machine learning, computer vision, or robotics vision.
• Hands-on experience developing autonomous vehicle technologies or working within related sectors.
