About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Modernise Contact Centre team at Westpac New Zealand. In this critical role, you will support and enhance our contact centre technology platforms through software development, integration, automation, production support, and platform modernization efforts. Your contributions will help ensure dependable solutions for both customers and frontline staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics and contact centre platforms.
- Create and maintain integrations utilizing APIs and middleware technologies.
- Implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), automation, testing, and DevOps best practices.
- Provide production system support and drive ongoing improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and advocate for strong engineering standards.
- Actively participate in code development, architecture decision-making, and solution design.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Proven expertise developing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
- Understanding of contact centre domain and technologies.
- Experience with API integration, middleware, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and production environment support.
- Strong analytical, communication, and mentoring capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS), interactive voice response (IVR), telephony or other enterprise contact centre solutions.
- Background in financial services or working within regulated industries.
