Position Overview

The Senior Sales Engineer will showcase Camunda's solutions and guide organizations intending to automate core business processes. You will manage client evaluations of the product, address all technical inquiries, coordinate all pre-sales engagements, and collaborate with Account Executives and Solution Architects. Responsibilities include conducting proof of concepts, technical discussions, opportunity qualification, and helping to formulate and implement sales strategies to secure new clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs to suitable Camunda products
• Demonstrate both quantitative and qualitative business benefits of Camunda
• Design individualized evaluation plans and demonstration content for prospects
• Lead product demonstrations and technical Q&A sessions
• Assist in responding to RFI and RFP documents
• Partner with Account Executives to grow accounts and coordinate pre-sales activities
• Implement sample code snippets as part of demos
• Create and update pre-sales materials and technical documentation

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Willingness and ability to use the Camunda product
• Strong technical background with a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
• Solid grasp of programming principles, contemporary software engineering, and IT/system architectures
• Experience in sales engineering or pre-sales with knowledge of sales cycles, value-based selling, and stakeholder engagement
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Fluent English communications (C1/C2 or native fluency); Arabic proficiency is advantageous
• Flexible to travel occasionally for client meetings, events, and team collaboration

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in enterprise automation, BPM, process orchestration, RPA, or Agentic AI
• Familiarity with value-based selling, including conducting value workshops and value engineering techniques
• Knowledge of the automation and orchestration product landscape and principal industry participants
• Industry experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Logistics, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Telecommunications
• Arabic language skills are a plus

Compensation and Benefits

Salary is competitive, transparent, and regionally indexed, with total cash compensation (base plus 100% variable target) ranging as follows for major markets:

• U.S.: $175,200 to $282,400 annually
• U.K.: £110,000 to £180,900 annually
• Singapore: S$217,500 to S$326,300 annually

Applicants outside these regions will be hired through Remote.com, with customized compensation information provided after interviews.

Equity participation is available via a Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP), where applicable.
