Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Independently devise and implement machine learning strategies to address business challenges.
- Critically evaluate the applicability and effectiveness of your work and that of your colleagues in real-world scenarios.
- Gather stakeholder needs and present findings and insights clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and data analyses to select optimal solutions.
- Tackle varied data-related issues ensuring solutions are simple, scalable, reproducible, and maintainable.
- Maintain high standards of quality and minimal defects in data and software products.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate and deploy machine learning models.
- Foster team collaboration, motivation, and healthy interpersonal relationships.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related quantitative field is required.
- Advanced qualifications such as a master's or specialized certifications in machine learning, deep learning, or natural language processing are essential; a PhD is advantageous.
- Experience with MLOps practices is necessary.
- Knowledge and practical experience with generative AI techniques including prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL and ElasticSearch, as well as Databricks platform.
- Background in retail, consumer goods, ecommerce, business, or FMCG sectors.
