Role Overview
The Senior Project Quantity Surveyor position involves overseeing all commercial facets of residential construction initiatives from start to finish. Core responsibilities include procurement management, cost oversight, reporting, handling interim payments, and final account settlements. You will engage regularly with key stakeholders, participate in site meetings, manage subcontractor agreements, and generate precise project forecasts and valuations.
The role demands strong commercial insight, leadership in technical construction facets, and commitment to delivering projects of high calibre.
Required Skills and Experience
- Possess a degree in Quantity Surveying and extensive relevant post-graduate experience within residential construction roles.
- Proficient with cost management software such as Cost-ex or equivalent, as well as Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
- Excellent analytical capabilities, negotiation prowess, and clear communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Ability to consistently meet challenging deadlines and quality standards while effectively prioritizing tasks.
- Proven track record of collaboration and teamwork.
