Job description
Position Overview
We seek a seasoned Senior Partner Manager to spearhead growth with leading security-focused channel partners across APAC. The aim is to build strong alliances that enhance customer acquisition and revenue streams by positioning Datadog as the preferred observability and cloud security platform for partners' clients and contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage top-tier cloud security channel partner relationships.
- Drive new and incremental revenue through established strategic security partners.
- Recruit and onboard new partners aligned with Datadog’s Ideal Partner Profile.
- Oversee partner agreement processes, collaborating with legal as necessary.
- Collaborate with partners to create insertion points within their service and solution offerings.
- Facilitate partner enablement through training, planning, and joint selling initiatives.
- Coordinate technical and marketing activities for integrated partnership launches.
- Conduct periodic business reviews to ensure accountability and track success metrics.
- Create partner-driven sales pipelines and revenue generation.
- Earn variable commissions equal to 40% of On Target Earnings.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of quota-bearing, partner-facing experience in cybersecurity and/or cloud security SaaS sectors.
- Proven capability in driving sales processes from lead generation to deal closure, including negotiations and sustained partnerships.
- Experience working with leading cloud hyperscalers.
- Ability to quickly comprehend and articulate technical concepts and architectures both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30-40% of the time.
