Role Overview

This full-time position based at Sankrail Industrial Park, Kolkata, involves planning and managing product assortments, ensuring efficient production levels, and using sales data insights to optimize purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with buyers and suppliers to coordinate product selection and pricing.
• Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand standards to enhance in-store appeal.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring on-schedule merchandising execution.
• Compile routine performance analyses and suggest strategic improvements.
• Support and mentor junior merchandising team members.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and external partners.
• Experience in customer service and retail to comprehend shopper preferences and optimize production processes.
• Sales expertise to analyze data, enhance category results, and support revenue objectives.
• Marketing knowledge to assist with product launch campaigns.
• Previous experience in merchandising or retail leadership within fashion or lifestyle sectors.
• Strong proficiency in analytics and numeric data interpretation for forecasting and inventory control.
• Capacity to operate onsite in Kolkata, handle multiple priorities efficiently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
• Holding a bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
