Role Overview

As a Senior iOS Engineer within the Spend Squad, you will take a leading role in delivering customer-facing mobile interfaces for one of Wise's highest-impact and fastest-growing products. You will collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and product teams to drive technical execution and product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end engineering projects covering feature conception, technical design, development, deployment, and scaling.
• Manage and enhance the card product alongside five distinct product teams, owning major user workflows such as card ordering, transactions, 3DS authentication, bill splitting, recurring payments, and dispute resolution.
• Produce high-quality, maintainable code advocating mobile engineering best practices and working with a global squad to guarantee a smooth mobile experience.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in developing, launching, and maintaining scalable, high-performance iOS applications.
• Proficient with modern iOS UI frameworks, specifically SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency.
• Driven by customer experience with a strong focus on data-informed decision making and resolving user challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Adaptability to dynamic priorities and workflows to meet evolving team goals.
• Effective collaborator within globally distributed teams, contributing technical excellence and elevating fellow engineers.
