Role Overview

The Senior HR Risk and Compliance Program Manager will directly report to the Head of HR Risk & Compliance. This key position involves driving end-to-end project and program management for global and regional risk and compliance initiatives within HR, aligned with eBay's organizational goals. Serving as the liaison between Internal Audit and the People Team, the role manages audit delivery processes and supports initiatives designed to reduce risk. It also partners cross-functionally with Privacy, Data Retention, InfoSec, and Government Relations to ensure compliance requirements are understood and implemented effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and advance compliance activities in the People Team's roadmap.
• Collaborate with the Legal department to coordinate compliance obligations affecting HR.
• Manage the publication and updating of monthly compliance dashboards.
• Optimize the People Team's responses and results from internal audits.
• Lead and contribute to projects and change management initiatives that enhance compliance frameworks.
• Work closely with colleagues to integrate compliance obligations into HR processes and tools.
• Interpret new legislation and guide necessary adaptations in People Team practices.
• Partner with risk, vendor, compliance teams, operations, and development to refine project management practices and tools.
• Support collection of documentation for Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
• Identify and lead initiatives that effectively reduce risks for HR and eBay.
• Coordinate proactive compliance and awareness campaigns with Legal, Audit, Data Governance, and InfoSec groups.
• Provide periodic status reports and insights to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 7 years of HR experience focusing on audit, compliance, policy, risk mitigation, or legal issues.
• At least 5 years working in a dynamic global environment.
• Minimum 5 years of program or project management experience within HR.
• Familiarity with Google Suite, Visier analytics, and ServiceNow platforms is beneficial.
• Strong alignment with eBay's mission and an interest in compliance or legal domains.

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), or Studying for CIPP/E or CIPP/US credentials preferred.
• Risk management certification is an asset.
