Role Overview

We seek a senior, hands-on full-stack engineer focused on building AI-enhanced field and delivery solutions integrating AIDA with Rida's broader platform. This position is not purely ML research nor isolated AI projects. You will create new AIDA products and extend production systems, APIs, and operational applications to reliably implement AI-driven decisions and workflows. Comfort with both new product development and maintenance of established production environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered tools to manage customer and operational dialogue.
• Implement field-service workflows including job intake, scheduling, assignment, coordination with vendors, status updates, proof of work, and exception management.
• Build delivery workflows covering order handling, driver and operations apps, tracking, proof of delivery, and service recovery processes.
• Create human-in-the-loop mechanisms to review and authorize AI-driven recommendations.
• Develop operational dashboards and control systems for internal teams and customers.
• Construct integrations among AIDA, Rida’s applications, and client enterprise systems.
• Develop reusable workflow components adaptable to diverse customers and industries.
• Maintain frontend applications with JavaScript and Vue.js technology.
• Build and enhance backend services, RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and webhooks.
• Design robust application workflows and PostgreSQL database schemas.
• Integrate with messaging platforms, customer systems, and external third-party services.
• Work with AWS-hosted production applications.
• Troubleshoot complex problems spanning frontend, backend, databases, and infrastructure.
• Advocate for improved application architecture, automated testing practices, system observability, and reliable deployments.
• Enforce secure coding methods covering authentication, permissions, secret management, API security, and protecting sensitive client data.
• Collaborate closely with product, operations, and commercial teams to translate operational needs into scalable software solutions.
• Participate actively in architecture design decisions, code reviews, incident management, and technical planning.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly for faster and higher-quality software engineering.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of five years’ professional experience as a full-stack software engineer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and preferably TypeScript.
• Solid practical experience using Vue.js and Node.js frameworks.
• Experienced designing and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of data modeling and working with PostgreSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting live production systems on AWS.
• Competence with automated testing, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), logging, monitoring, and resolving production issues.
• Good understanding of application and cloud security concepts, including authentication, role-based access control, secret management, encryption, and safeguarding sensitive customer information.
• Adept at understanding and improving complex existing software systems alongside developing new products.
• Exemplary ownership, sound technical judgment, and effective written communication skills.

Valued Additional Experience

• AI agents, large language model (LLM) applications, or workflow automation technologies.
• Experience building messaging or conversational user interfaces, such as WhatsApp integrations.
• Background in field-service management, logistics, or delivery platform development.
• Familiarity with B2B SaaS and integration with enterprise systems.
• Experience managing high-volume transactional or operational systems.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing models.
• Experience working within SOC 2 or other security-compliant environments.

• Delivered AI-driven field or delivery features actively used in live operational settings.
• Established dependable integrations between AIDA, Rida applications, and external systems.
• Demonstrated independent ownership of critical application services.
• Enhanced the reliability, security, and maintainability of production systems.
• Helped create reusable engineering standards as AIDA expands into new use cases.

Work Location and Employment

Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Range: SGD 6000 to SGD 12000 per month, dependent on experience.
