The UK-based Electrical team is a leading force in the energy transition and renewables sectors, specializing in wind, solar, and other renewable technologies. The team also provides expert maritime electrical infrastructure consultancy worldwide, delivering feasibility studies, master plans, and designs to clients spanning the maritime and renewables sectors globally.

Role Summary and Responsibilities

To support an expanding project portfolio, Haskoning seeks experienced Senior Electrical Engineers with 5 to 10 years of professional experience. This role involves delivering high-quality consultancy services to international clients, developing digital approaches to enhance productivity, and assuming early responsibility within a dynamic team environment.

• Deliver expert electrical engineering input across diverse projects
• Design systems including high, medium, and low voltage distribution, and internal/external lighting
• Produce design calculations, drawings, studies, technical specifications, and reports
• Engage with clients, directors, and project stakeholders effectively
• Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and inspections
• Prepare detailed reports and cost estimates
• Commit to professional growth adhering to IET requirements and represent the company in local and national IET networks
• Identify business opportunities while maintaining high client satisfaction levels

Candidate Profile

• Holds a BEng (Hons) or MEng degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline
• Either attained or progressing toward Chartered Engineer status with the Engineering Council UK and Corporate Membership in the Institution of Engineering and Technology
• Experience with HV, MV, and LV electrical installations, including supply systems and external lighting
• Familiarity with IEC, ISO, and other international standards, and application of EU legislation
• Proficient in at least one of these design tools: AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, PSCAD, PowerFactory (DIgSILENT), Dialux, Relux, Trimble
• Desirable experience in renewables (offshore, EV infrastructure, future energy systems), maritime sectors, petrochemical industries, and knowledge of onshore/offshore power systems
• Ability or eligibility to obtain security clearance for UK defence-related work is advantageous
