Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Master Works is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with deep knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystems and advanced CI/CD methodologies. This position entails architecting, developing, and managing scalable, secure infrastructure to support a broad spectrum of enterprise applications and AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and oversee Kubernetes-based environments tailored for enterprise-grade applications.
• Operate and maintain platforms with an emphasis on cluster management.
• Create, deploy, and sustain CI/CD pipelines to automate application and service delivery.
• Utilize container orchestration best practices for application deployment and management.
• Guarantee the availability, performance, and security of on-premises infrastructures.
• Develop and manage GitOps workflows to streamline deployments.
• Partner with development teams to optimize deployment and release cycles.
• Monitor system health, resolve operational issues, and enhance resource utilization.
• Implement rigorous security measures including access management and secret handling.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system architectures and operational processes for transparency and maintainability.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven, hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production settings.
• Strong background in container orchestration and automated deployment frameworks.
• Practical expertise in managing GPU workloads within Kubernetes environments, including NVIDIA GPU Operator and CUDA.
• Experience working with Rancher and/or OpenShift for efficient cluster governance.
• Solid proficiency in Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as Grafana or equivalents.
• Comprehensive understanding of security protocols specific to on-premises systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving aptitude and proven capability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
