Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect, develop, and grow scalable data pipelines fueling our analytics and AI capabilities. This role encompasses full ownership of data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and aggregation using a modern Snowflake-centered technology stack with embedded data quality controls and automation. The role also involves advancing AI integration into data workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain highly reliable ELT pipelines spanning all data lifecycle stages in the data warehouse.
- Incorporate automated data validations, testing routines, and quality assurance mechanisms within pipelines.
- Enhance current data products and lead proofs of concept for new initiatives.
- Monitor pipeline performance and respond proactively to alerts, ensuring consistent platform availability.
- Implement AI technologies for pipeline code generation, automation, and quality controls.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide data governance policies and standardization.
- Collaborate closely with analytics, BI, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate and well-structured data assets.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of substantial experience in data engineering roles.
- Proven track record of managing data engineering solutions at scale in production environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming and SQL querying.
- Expertise in data warehouse architecture including dimensional modeling, query optimization, and native SQL techniques.
- Practical experience with data warehouse testing frameworks and pipeline automation.
- Strong knowledge of orchestrating workflows using Airflow and building transformations with dbt.
