Senior Consultant - Test Manager

Role Overview

The Senior Consultant will function as the main test management point of contact within the program, overseeing the complete testing processes across various releases and functional streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive, integrated test plans covering system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), regression tests, performance assessments, security evaluations, operational acceptance, payroll reconciliation, and quarterly Oracle release verifications.
• Coordinate efforts among business stakeholders, internal IT teams, implementation partners, application owners, and third-party integration groups.
• Oversee readiness for testing activities, including managing test environments, data preparation, writing and maintaining test scripts, ensuring traceability of requirements, directing test execution, facilitating defect triage, enforcing entry and exit criteria, collecting test evidence, generating reports, maintaining quality gates, and obtaining phase approvals.
• Lead risk-oriented testing strategies, prioritize critical end-to-end business scenarios, promote test automation, monitor and report metrics, and make informed release readiness decisions.
• Ensure consistent governance and standards are applied across Oracle Cloud modules, custom-built components, system interfaces, reporting tools, and integrated applications.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience managing test activities within large and complex Oracle Cloud implementation projects, including but not limited to Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Payroll, Enterprise Performance Management, Retail solutions, Warehouse Management Systems/Order Management, Oracle Integration Cloud/Platform as a Service integrations, and interactions with third-party software.
• Proficient with enterprise test management platforms and automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca or equivalent technologies.
• Strong capability in engaging and managing relationships with senior stakeholders and coordinating multi-vendor delivery teams.
• Alignment with Oracle's recommended practices emphasizing cross-team implementation leadership, collaboration among customers, implementation partners, support, and engineering units, and a testing methodology focused on risk-based coverage, early detection of defects, requirements traceability, and rigorous test governance.
