- Conduct detailed research on upcoming projects, tenders, market trends, and emergent opportunities.
- Translate customer needs into viable commercial and operational solutions in collaboration with internal departments.
- Assist in drafting proposals, tenders, presentations, and pricing offers.
- Participate actively in client discussions, price negotiations, and ensure smooth contract progression and handover.
- Design account strategies for key customers, identifying cross-selling and expansion possibilities.
- Monitor competitor activities, evolving regulatory landscapes, and major market projects within Saudi Arabia.
- Update and manage accurate records of opportunities and pipeline status in CRM systems.
- Ensure all opportunities comply with Averda’s standards concerning commercial, legal, HSE, risk, and governance aspects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Management, or related fields.
- Minimum five years in business development, sales, or commercial roles within environmental services, waste management, industrial or utilities sectors.
- MUST hold solid experience and understanding of the Saudi Arabian market.
- Prior exposure to waste management, facilities management, or similar B2B service industries is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record of identifying and converting new business opportunities while engaging key stakeholders.

- Strong commercial insight including revenue, margin analysis, pricing strategies, and basic finance.
- Practical knowledge of tender procedures, proposal crafting, commercial practices, and contract formulation.

- Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English, oral and written.
