Role Overview

The Senior Bid Coordinator will join Coffey’s seasoned Bid team and will be instrumental in securing key infrastructure contracts by crafting thorough, compelling pre-qualification and tender submissions that effectively display the company’s capabilities and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the entire prequalification and tender submission process, from initial receipt to final delivery.
  • Analyze tender documents to identify requirements and liaise with relevant stakeholders to gather necessary inputs.
  • Create, edit, and proofread proposal content that accurately aligns with Coffey’s brand identity.
  • Handle communications pertaining to current tenders and submissions.
  • Document client feedback and pinpoint areas for enhancing future submissions.
  • Manage the bid library, tender registers, and other related departmental records.
  • Keep track of tender portals to spot appropriate bidding opportunities.
  • Assist with reporting duties within the tendering group.
  • Offer guidance, mentorship, and peer support to Bid Coordinators during tender and pre-qualification questionnaire reviews.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in preparing successful bids and tender submissions.
  • Background in construction, engineering, utilities, or related industries.
  • Exceptional technical writing, proofreading, and communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of Irish public and private sector tendering procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and tender management platforms.
  • Possession of a valid driving license for business-related travel where necessary.
  • Legal authorization to work in Ireland.
