Joining as a Senior Backend Engineer means taking ownership beyond routine coding—you will build and maintain scalable backend systems, working closely with product and data teams, and seeing the real impact of your contributions in live production environments. We integrate AI tools into workflows to reduce repetitive work and enhance productivity, fostering a culture of smart, efficient engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend architectures powering real-time decisions, ad delivery, and performance monitoring, ensuring reliability and maintainability under high traffic by applying best distributed systems principles.
• Create and maintain efficient APIs (REST and GraphQL) for internal and external use, integrating third-party platforms and analytics tools to optimize campaign performance.
• Optimize system performance and scalability through profiling, caching, and horizontal scaling; contribute to containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes alongside modern monitoring solutions to ensure observability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering peers, guiding architecture reviews and promoting quality and maintainable codebases.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and data teams to deliver features that directly impact advertiser ROI and campaign success metrics.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Minimum of five years in backend engineering, with at least two years building solutions in high-volume, data-intensive environments.
• Solid expertise in Python with practical experience in frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Deep knowledge of API design and backend integration, including REST and GraphQL, alongside experience in distributed systems, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and event-driven architecture.
• Strong skills in performance tuning, scaling strategies, and building latency-sensitive, high-throughput services with systemic optimization skills.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, and ensuring system observability.
• An analytical mindset that balances holistic technical problem solving with business outcome sensitivity.
• Excellent communication abilities, capable of articulating complex technical ideas clearly to diverse teams including product management and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AdTech domains, including ad serving logic, fraud prevention, tracking systems, or real-time bidding is a notable advantage.
