Senior Associate Pricing Technology Configuration Engineer

About the Role

Join PwC Acceleration Center India as a Senior Associate in our Customer Consulting division, specializing in configuring and extending Pricefx enterprise pricing solutions. You will be instrumental in supporting various service lines such as Advisory, Assurance, Tax, and Business Services by delivering high-quality consulting services, focusing on pricing strategy, profitability analysis, and customer-centric solutions that foster business growth.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize Pricefx solutions to meet enterprise-level pricing requirements.
• Analyze multifaceted pricing issues, offering insightful recommendations and solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to develop their technical expertise.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to fully understand their pricing needs and business objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to implement impactful pricing strategies.
• Uphold excellence in project execution and delivery standards.
• Navigate and resolve complex challenges to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Contribute to creating innovative and scalable pricing solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in pricing technology and consulting.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience owning Pricefx implementation and configuration.
• Advanced skills in Groovy scripting or proven equivalent scripting expertise with demonstrated delivery in Groovy.
• Strong comprehension of pricing principles including price lists, discounts, approvals, segmentation, customer/product hierarchies, rebate programs, and governance protocols.
• Proficient with Git version control systems and practical CI/CD execution involving pipeline-as-code, automated validation, and environment promotion controls.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams including functional, data/integration, QA, and release management.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Capability to translate business requirements into scalable configurations and advanced analytics outputs.

Preferred Attributes

• Pricefx certification is advantageous.
• Experience building pricing analytics with measurable business impact.
• Familiarity with AI/ML applications in pricing scenarios.
• Knowledge of integration architectures and error handling mechanisms.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience using CI/CD platforms for software delivery.
• Ability to work within geographically distributed teams.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, and Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) systems.
