About the Centralized Timekeeping Team
The Centralized Timekeeping (CTK) team focuses on optimizing time and attendance data management. This includes minimizing payroll errors and consistently providing superior service levels. The team handles time and attendance matters for thousands of Amazon associates, working from a ticket-based request system prioritizing critical payroll-impacting issues to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Position Overview
As a Time and Attendance Operations Administrator within Amazon's HR team, you will be responsible for managing employee time records and delivering support through phone and chat channels. Serving multiple Amazon locations, you will be the primary contact for employees, managers, and HR partners regarding timekeeping matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to employee inquiries related to time, attendance, and HR policies via phone and chat efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date attendance records in the service case management system.
- Apply and uphold Amazon’s attendance policies following applicable state and federal regulations.
- Address HR-related questions using standard operating procedures and documentation.
- Take full ownership of employee cases from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely and satisfactory outcomes.
- Identify documentation or procedural gaps and recommend measures to enhance service delivery.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to support a diverse stakeholder group.
- Collaborate on team initiatives aimed at improving service quality and maintain a customer-obsessed mindset.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of six months experience in human resources, customer service, or working at Amazon.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience working in confidential environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year or more experience using Microsoft Office products and applications.
