Role Overview
We invite a seasoned Senior Associate Architect to join our architectural team in Dubai. This role demands leadership in design and execution of forward-thinking building projects, mentorship of junior staff, and close coordination with diverse project stakeholders. The successful candidate will blend extensive technical knowledge with strategic insight to develop outstanding architectural designs aligned with client goals and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design processes for commercial and residential developments, from concept through to project delivery.
- Create detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation utilizing BIM and CAD platforms.
- Perform site analysis and feasibility assessments to guide project planning.
- Communicate design ideas and proposals effectively to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to UAE building codes, international regulations, and sustainability benchmarks.
- Supervise and mentor junior architects and design team members, fostering professional development.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to address design challenges and optimize results.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality assurance to meet specified standards.
- Critically review architectural outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Keep abreast of new architectural innovations, technologies, and industry trends.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in architectural design focused on building and commercial projects.
- Minimum of 3 years in a senior or leadership architectural role.
- Proficient with BIM software, specifically Revit, and CAD software such as AutoCAD.
- Comprehensive understanding of building codes, construction standards, and compliance requirements.
- Expertise in architectural principles, spatial organization, and building systems.
