About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer for a full-time position at 14Forty in Harlow, responsible for maintaining a safe environment across our premises. This position entails a 42-hour work week with shifts typically covering four days out of seven. The role involves safeguarding customers, staff, and property while offering exemplary customer service and promoting a positive brand image.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage access and movements in and around the facility.
- Execute effective security operations ensuring premises safety.
- Assist the public by addressing general inquiries courteously.
- Serve as a brand ambassador reflecting 14Forty's positive image.
- Collaborate enthusiastically within a team and communicate clearly.
Candidate Profile
- Should possess a valid SIA licence or meet the eligibility criteria to obtain one.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships easily.
- Demonstrates resilience, determination, and the capacity to work under pressure.
- Previous experience delivering excellent customer service is essential.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Proactive, capable of taking initiative, and a strong team collaborator.
- Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of health & safety, criminal law, and security operations.
