Role Overview

We are seeking a Security Guard experienced in inventory management and customer relations to join our active team in Brampton, Ontario. This role involves ensuring safety, controlling access, and assisting customers and staff in a dynamic automotive remarketing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain security by monitoring and safeguarding the auction perimeter.
  • Verify clearance for personnel, customers, transporters, and supply vendors.
  • Conduct patrols and complete security rounds.
  • Inventory and securely store personal belongings from repossessed vehicles.
  • Manage vehicle stock check-in and check-out using handheld devices as needed.
  • Access AuctionTrac data to guide customers to vehicle inventories.
  • Deliver prompt and courteous customer service to dealers, assisting with procedures and inquiries.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • One to three years of prior security experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent credential.
  • Valid driver’s license and valid Basic Security Training (BST) license for Ontario.
  • Proficient with computers and smartphones.
  • Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Preferred Attributes

  • Certification in First Aid and CPR.
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Compensation

The hourly wage ranges from $23.00 CAD, contingent on experience, skills, qualifications, and other pertinent factors.
