Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Trivandrum seeks an SEO Executive to manage daily SEO operations such as keyword research, on-page SEO, and link building. Responsibilities include conducting SEO audits, analyzing website data, and formulating strategies to boost organic traffic. The role involves collaborating closely with the digital marketing team to enhance clients' search engine visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive on-site and off-site SEO competition analysis and audits.
• Regularly generate performance reports using Google Analytics.
• Create high-quality SEO content aligned with strategic goals.
• Conduct keyword leadership, identify keyword gaps, and optimize existing content.
• Stay informed of latest developments in Search Engine Marketing.
• Design and implement Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies to improve visibility in AI-based search results and featured snippets.
• Optimize website content for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to enhance discovery on AI platforms like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Perplexity.
• Develop structured, intent-focused content incorporating schema markup, FAQ sections, and semantic SEO methodologies.
• Track AI search performance metrics and adjust content strategies based on evolving search engine and generative AI algorithms.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Solid understanding of SEO practices and search engine algorithms.
• Proficient in Google Analytics and related analytics tools.
• Exceptional written communication capabilities.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage multiple SEO tasks.
• In-depth knowledge of web design, site architecture, backlink analysis, and link building techniques.
• Expertise in keyword research and data mining tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of AEO and GEO principles.
• Experience optimizing content for AI-powered search engines, featured snippets, voice search, and zero-click search outcomes.
• Knowledge of structured data standards (Schema.org), entity SEO, semantic search, and the E-E-A-T quality guidelines.
• Familiarity with AI-based SEO tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Surfer SEO, Frase, or Clearscope is advantageous.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience in keyword research, off-page SEO, link building, AEO, and GEO optimization.
• Understanding of AI search ecosystems, conversational search optimization, and semantic content strategies.
• Competent in conducting SEO audits and social media marketing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related disciplines.
• Previous experience in a similar SEO role or within digital marketing is beneficial.

Other Requirements

• Candidate must be based in or willing to relocate to Trivandrum, Kerala.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is expected.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Trivandrum.
