Role Overview
We seek a Scheduler to join our Pass Christian, MS jobsite team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in scheduling for multiple trades or disciplines, including experience with capital projects, turnarounds/events, or routine maintenance scheduling. Responsibilities may encompass scheduling activities related to maintenance, turnarounds, small capital projects, or a combination.
Essential Qualifications
- Completion of technical training and/or industrial safety experience.
- Successful completion of post-offer drug/alcohol screening and physical assessments.
- Adherence to Turner Industries' drug, alcohol, and contraband policies.
- Compliance with company and client site safety protocols.
- Capability to work safely without posing direct health risks to others.
Functional Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, and productivity reports to establish manpower and project estimates.
- Examine proposal specifications, drawings, and participate in pre-bid meetings to clarify work scope and estimation requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive estimates by calculating scope takeoffs and coordinate estimating efforts for specific bids or projects.
- Maintain thorough documentation to support estimate figures and liaise with owners, architects/engineers, and contractors regarding project feasibility.
- Manage awarded contracts by estimating change orders, extra work, and credits, as well as procuring necessary materials.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by supervisors.
Compensation
Remuneration will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, and structures both above and below ground level.
- Maintain balance and coordinate eye-hand movements for operating tools and equipment.
- Lift and carry objects at various heights; perform standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting activities.
- Have corrected or uncorrected vision and hearing capacity.
