SAP VIM Consultant

Role Overview

This position requires comprehensive expertise and hands-on proficiency in configuring and managing SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) systems, along with Invoice Capture Center, Open Text Archive Server, and core SAP finance modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Source to Pay processes utilizing the Materials Management (MM) module in SAP.
• Expertly handle SAP VIM workplace functionalities and provide analytical insights using dashboards and reports.
• Work extensively with Intelligent Capture for SAP including Invoice Entry Email Channel and both Purchase Order based and non-Purchase Order invoice processing.
• Lead requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, system configuration, testing, end-user training, and provide post-go-live support.
• Conduct business blueprint workshops and deliver thorough functional gap analyses.
• Develop and document solutions and designs to meet business needs, and execute configuration, support, and testing tasks accordingly.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work on weekends if requested, acknowledging critical project deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive experience (over 7 years) specifically with SAP VIM is mandatory.
• Strong background in SAP Invoice Capture Center, Open Text Archive Server, and financial module integration (AP, AR, GL).
• Hands-on expertise with full lifecycle implementations — ideally two or more end-to-end projects.
• Proven understanding of business processes related to vendor invoice management and analytics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to drive workshops and prepare comprehensive documentation.

Additional Information

The role is a contract-based position requiring onsite presence in India. Total overall experience should be at least 10 years. Candidates must be amenable to working outside normal hours during critical project phases.
