Role Overview
Join a pioneering AI platform transforming product development in materials science, chemistry, and biology as a Graduate Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in the UK. This entry-level position offers recent STEM graduates a chance to jump-start their career in sales within an innovative, fast-moving tech environment. From the outset, you will actively generate a sales pipeline, engage with industry experts, and collaborate with senior leaders and founders to gain critical skills for a career in technology sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate and assess new sales opportunities via outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach focused on the DACH region.
- Work closely with a seasoned Account Executive to nurture prospects and convert leads into customers.
- Conduct introductory product demonstrations to showcase your grasp of the company’s offerings and industry landscape.
- Continuously expand knowledge about the served industries, product details, and sales platforms such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong.
- Attend conferences and events across the EU around 25% of the time, with possibilities to travel globally.
Candidate Requirements
- University degree or higher in a STEM discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Materials Science) preferably from a Russell Group university, ideally graduated 2022 or later.
- Fluent German speaker with strong communication capabilities and natural skills in outreach and relationship management.
- Highly motivated, resilient, well-organized, and analytical, able to handle and prioritize a large number of leads effectively.
- Demonstrated curiosity about technology and science, along with an understanding of business operations.
