Sales Application Engineer / Steam Specialist

About the Role

Anradus Pte Ltd seeks a Sales Application Engineer specializing as a Steam Specialist to join their manufacturing division focused on valve components. This permanent position is based in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore, offering a structured workweek from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Compensation includes a base salary up to SGD 6,500, complemented by transport allowance and a performance-based variable bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain robust relationships with customers by delivering expert engineering solutions and offering both pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to grasp customer needs, propose appropriate product solutions, and manage expectations efficiently.
• Provide customer assistance through troubleshooting, identifying technical challenges, and recommending feasible and cost-efficient resolutions.
• Engage in technical discussions with customers' engineering or maintenance divisions to resolve issues related to processes, products, or engineering concerns.
• Coordinate with the company's Technical Service Unit to deploy fitting engineering solutions while upholding service quality standards.
• Organize and conduct product demonstrations, sales pitches, and technical training sessions for clients, prospects, and internal staff.
• Assist in creating technical and marketing content as needed.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive developments, and new market opportunities to suggest product enhancements or introductions.
• Negotiate and liaise with principals and suppliers regarding quotations, technical specifications, and suitable customer solutions.
• Source reliable products from local and international suppliers to broaden the company’s offerings.
• Lead engineering projects from planning through completion, managing technical discussions, coordination with stakeholders, and solving unforeseen challenges.
• Ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery with comprehensive documentation of all project data.
• Arrange joint visits with sales and maintain transparent communication lines among customers, suppliers, and principals.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possess a degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
• Demonstrate relevant experience as a Steam Specialist or Product Specialist, with in-depth expertise in steam systems and their applications.
• Have practical experience working with steam traps, boilers, fluid control systems, valves, and related steam equipment.
• Experienced in performing thermal audits and identifying opportunities to improve energy efficiency or system functionality.
• Hold a Class 3 Driving License.
