Sales Agent

Overview

Join Turkish Airlines as a Sales Agent and contribute to delivering outstanding passenger service and a seamless travel experience. As part of our enthusiastic team, you will engage directly with passengers and support daily operations at our Sales Office in Port Louis, Mauritius.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver reservation, booking, ticket sales, passenger information, check-in, and manifest preparation services with a warm and professional attitude.
• Calculate fares, determine routes according to passenger preferences, provide schedule and fare details, and ensure smooth coordination throughout the passenger journey.
• Efficiently handle reservation and booking requests and issue tickets for domestic and international flights.
• Manage ticket adjustments such as endorsements, rerouting, and ticket returns.
• Record and report operational income, costs, financing, and financial data accurately in IT systems including SAP, ERP, and DOP.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree or minimum high school certification.
• Hold permanent residency status in Mauritius; the employer does not provide work permits.
• Have at least one year of experience in civil aviation or tourism sectors.
• Be capable of thriving under high-pressure conditions.
• Proficient in English and local languages.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including overnight and irregular hours.
• Demonstrate teamwork skills and the ability to operate independently when necessary.
• Strong multitasking capabilities.
• Familiarity with major Computer Reservations Systems; experience with Troya or Quickres is advantageous.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Exhibit responsibility with sound decision-making abilities.
