Project Opportunity
RSGx is supporting a major urea production project in Western Australia, which upon completion will be the largest in Australia and among the largest worldwide, featuring innovative and sustainable manufacturing processes. The construction phase is predicted to create approximately 2,000 jobs and provide long-term benefits to the local community through employment, training, and business development.
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Riggers with a minimum of five years working on large construction ventures, specifically with structural steel erection expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing erection and installation tasks involving structural steel components.
- Rigging, lifting, and correctly positioning structural steel using approved machinery and techniques.
- Conducting pre-operation checks on rigging equipment to ensure safety and fitness for use.
- Following approved lift plans, rigging procedures, and project specifications.
- Supporting precise positioning, alignment, and installation of steel structures.
- Collaborating closely with crane operators, boilermakers, supervisors, and other construction team members to complete lifts safely.
- Adhering stringently to site safety, quality control, and productivity standards for all rigging activities.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in largescale construction projects with demonstrated structural steel erection skill set.
- Experience in FIFO roles and major project environments preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality in the workplace.
- Current licenses and qualifications including HRWL (Rigging Advanced or Intermediate), HRWL - EWP, Working at Heights certificate, White Card, and a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to provide two suitable reference checks.
