Key Responsibilities
- Formulate comprehensive revenue management plans applicable across multiple properties.
- Examine market dynamics, demand fluctuations, seasonal variations, and competitor activity.
- Create adaptive pricing models aimed at maximizing occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and total revenue.
- Regularly oversee and fine-tune daily pricing and available inventory across all properties.
- Ensure consistency and parity in rates across Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and direct booking platforms.
- Track competitor pricing trends and promptly respond to market changes with pricing adjustments.
- Oversee the OTA coordination team and guarantee efficient routine operations.
- Enhance the OTA team's effectiveness through skill development and process enhancements.
- Analyze OTA performance metrics including visibility, booking conversions, and revenue contribution.
- Optimize OTA listings with strategic promotions, stock availability, restrictions, and inventory management.
- Identify and implement opportunities to boost occupancy, ADR, Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR), and profitability.
- Develop, monitor, and manage revenue forecasts, budgeting, and performance reporting.
- Assess booking pace, cancellations, pick-up rates, and forecast future demand to guide pricing strategies.
- Design specific strategies to address peak seasons, low-demand intervals, weekends, events, and seasonal shifts.
- Collaborate closely with teams from Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations to unify revenue management approaches.
- Set performance standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Revenue and OTA teams.
- Conduct regular evaluations and provide coaching to enhance team growth and results.
- Develop and standardize operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, and workflows for Revenue and OTA functions.
- Continuously monitor revenue trends, delivering actionable insights to senior management.
- Identify new revenue enhancement possibilities and commercial growth strategies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in revenue management, OTA, hospitality, or travel sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in revenue management principles, especially pricing optimization, inventory control, and occupancy maximization.
- Advanced analytical capabilities with proficiency in interpreting data, forecasting demand, and leveraging performance indicators.
- Familiarity with hotel or property management software, channel management tools, and revenue management systems.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline is essential; an MBA or specialized hospitality certification is advantageous.
- Prior experience specifically in hospitality revenue management or pricing strategies, ideally in hotels, resorts, or holiday homes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to interact effectively across various operational and leadership departments.
