About the Role
At Screwfix, we are dedicated to serving tradespeople with over 60,000 products and more than 900 stores nationwide, supported by leading digital services. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be a key player in delivering outstanding customer service, leading by example, and maintaining operational excellence both on the sales floor and in the warehouse.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7am to 8pm
- Saturday: 7am to 6pm
- Sunday: 9am to 4pm
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the in-store team as a host, setting the standard for excellent customer interaction, understanding and fulfilling customer needs, and simplifying their shopping experience.
- Ensure all store operations run seamlessly including cash reconciliation, handling customer inquiries, compliance audits, and efficient stock management.
- Foster a collaborative and fun team environment that takes pride in the store's performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a supervisor or duty manager managing small teams in a dynamic retail setting.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to drive sales through positive customer interactions.
- A proactive, curious mindset committed to continuous improvement.
- Strong enthusiasm for the business and its values.
- Reliability, honesty, flexibility, friendliness, and a strong work ethic.
