In this role, you will play a pivotal part in elevating both employee and client loyalty by fostering professional growth and enriching personalized client engagement. This position aims to empower FAs as the face of the brand, building their presence, prestige, and emotional connection with customers to drive sustained business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement tailored learning paths and development programs for retail teams, ensuring FAs access relevant training and progression opportunities.
  • Regularly observe interactions between clients and staff to assess capability gaps and identify learning requirements.
  • Create and oversee individual and group coaching plans, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Lead in-boutique training sessions, such as Flash Training, Morning Meetings, and collection briefings, utilizing blended and digital learning methods.
  • Coach Fashion Advisors on client engagement, adaptability, brand heritage, and product knowledge to foster emotional connections with clients.
  • Deliver prompt feedback following best practices and aligned with CHANEL’s competency frameworks.
  • Develop and deliver customized onboarding programs for new hires, including product knowledge, sales techniques, and client experience skills.
  • Support onboarding buddies to facilitate smooth integration of new team members.
  • Collaborate with experts, such as Client Engagement Management, to align client action plans with FA development needs.
  • Co-develop content and learning roadmaps jointly with L&D and cross-functional teams.
  • Engage with boutique management, HR, regional teams, and subject matter experts to synchronize learning initiatives with business objectives and ensure comprehensive product and service training.
  • Track training effectiveness using key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyze workforce and client data to aid retail leadership decision-making.
  • Leverage Client Satisfaction Scores (CSS) to continuously improve learning strategies and client experience.
  • Standardize and refine learning processes, including administration and feedback mechanisms, ensuring adherence to global and regional guidelines and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.
  • Work closely with IT, HR, and operations teams to enhance learning platforms and systems.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Engage with internal teams such as retail leaders, boutique staff, Fashion L&D, HR, marketing, visual merchandising, styling groups, regional L&D/HR, and business partners. Collaborate with external parties including training vendors, consultants, event venues, food and beverage providers, and production suppliers.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong observational and analytical abilities to identify developmental opportunities and growth areas for FAs and retail teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills that foster productive relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Adaptability and agility to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic luxury retail and learning environment.
  • Comfortable working within a multicultural, high-paced boutique setting.
  • Passionate about learning and development with a keen interest in the luxury retail sector.
  • Innovative and proactive in crafting engaging and effective learning solutions.
  • Confident in challenging established norms to advance both people development and client service excellence.
  • Committed to embracing best practices and strategic priorities among boutique teams.
