Restaurant Assistant Manager

About the Role

Circle K is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day operations at store 2745215Q, located at 4700 Hartley Bridge Rd, Macon, Georgia 31210. This full-time position offers flexible shift availability including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing restaurant operations and supervise the team during the manager's absence.
• Deliver outstanding guest service promptly and courteously while guiding and correcting team members.
• Conduct secondary interviews for potential team members and shift leads.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize general housekeeping tasks; assign shift duties and ensure their completion.
• Oversee food preparation and serving in line with brand, company, and health department guidelines; coach team accordingly.
• Communicate important information and contribute to new product training.
• Manage placement of campaign materials when requested.
• Ensure maintenance of product quality, food safety, and operational standards.
• Monitor cash, sales, and inventory records accurately during shifts; complete associated paperwork and report discrepancies.
• Perform administrative duties including paperwork, inventory and cash counts, and truck orders in manager's absence.
• Ensure the safety of guests and team by complying with government laws and safety codes.
• Prepare incident reports within a five-minute window per company policy.
• Collaborate to meet financial and operational goals ensuring profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be available full-time, covering all hours of operation including one hour before opening and one hour after closing.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Demonstrate integrity, reliability, and a positive, energetic demeanor.
• Ability to function effectively under pressure and maintain a sense of urgency.
• Work well independently and cooperatively within a team.
• Physical requirements include frequently bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, standing, walking, occasional ladder climbing, and tolerance for hot and cold environments as well as working around kitchen equipment and noise.
• Capable of reaching, grasping, manipulating objects, and regularly lifting up to 10 pounds with occasional lifting above 50 pounds.
