As a Remote Travel Coordinator or Vacation Planner, you will guide clients through the process of researching, arranging, and booking travel adventures while delivering outstanding service throughout the journey.
This role is a flexible, independent contractor position that allows work from any location. It suits those passionate about travel, assisting others, self-directed learning, and autonomy.
Previous experience in travel is not necessary; comprehensive training, resources, and continual support are provided to equip you with the knowledge and skills for success.
Responsibilities
- Help clients research and design vacations tailored to their desires, preferences, and budgets
- Explore various travel options including destinations, resorts, cruises, packages, and transportation
- Create and share travel quotes and detailed itineraries
- Make travel bookings via authorized suppliers and booking systems
- Maintain communication with clients prior to, during, and after bookings
- Keep precise records of client information and reservations
- Manage payment processing, monitor deadlines, and confirm final payment dates
- Stay updated on promotions, travel advisories, and supplier information
- Engage in training sessions and professional growth opportunities
- Develop strong client relationships
- Promote and expand your independent travel business
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Excellent communication and customer service aptitude
- Familiarity with computers, email, and digital platforms
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and capable of effective time management
- Willingness to undertake training and ongoing learning in travel industry knowledge
- Background in sales, hospitality, customer service, or travel is advantageous but not mandatory
