About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager to spearhead our talent acquisition efforts with a focus on expanding and diversifying our candidate pipeline through strategic channel sourcing. This role involves creating and executing innovative strategies to attract talent from public channels, local communities, educational institutions, and organizational networks to meet ongoing and future hiring demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment plan aligned with company growth and workforce planning objectives, emphasizing scalable sourcing engines.
  • Implement creative multi-channel sourcing techniques leveraging job boards, social media, community engagement activities such as radio and walk-in drives, educational partnerships, and professional networks.
  • Maintain a robust talent pipeline through proactive sourcing, networking, and employer branding.
  • Build and sustain productive relationships with external stakeholders including community leaders, local assemblies, educational institutions, vocational centers, and professional organizations to foster a sustainable talent ecosystem.
  • Drive community engagement initiatives to attract diverse candidates ensuring inclusivity in the talent pool.
  • Forge partnerships with educational institutions to organize career fairs and deploy internship and apprenticeship schemes aimed at young professionals.
  • Lead and mentor the recruitment team, ensuring high performance, professional development, and adherence to hiring best practices.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes encompassing job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and hire quality to optimize recruitment strategies and decision-making.
  • Ensure full compliance with Ghanaian labor laws, recruitment policies, and diversity hiring initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications to strengthen employer branding targeting key talent groups.
  • Provide an engaging and positive candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years of progressive recruitment experience, including 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume recruitment sectors.
  • Proven success in managing high-volume recruitment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Ghanaian labor regulations and effective hiring practices.
  • Experience within manufacturing or FMCG industries highly desirable.
  • Expertise in community outreach, campus recruitment, and educational institution relationship building.
