Position Overview
Reporting to the HR Manager, this role leads the national recruitment operations, overseeing a team of six Talent Acquisition specialists across various locations. This position offers the opportunity to shape workforce strategies, collaborate with senior executives, and champion recruitment excellence in a multi-site environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a national recruitment team of six professionals.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies spanning corporate, operational, technical, and manufacturing sectors.
- Collaborate intimately with Executive Leaders, Hiring Managers, and HR partners to grasp workforce demands and offer forward-thinking recruitment solutions.
- Initiate continuous enhancement programs concerning talent acquisition processes, technology, and candidate journey.
- Deliver workforce planning assistance and market intelligence to leadership.
- Ensure recruitment efforts align with organizational growth plans and labor market trends.
- Manage agency collaborations and external recruitment vendors effectively.
- Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction campaigns.
- Track recruitment performance metrics and report findings to senior leadership.
- Work hand in hand with HR and operational executives across multiple national locations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and adaptable recruitment expert with proven leadership experience in managing high-achieving teams within complex environments. They balance strategic vision with practical execution.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated track record in roles like Recruitment Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, or Recruitment Lead.
- Experience supervising recruitment teams spread across multiple locations.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement with the ability to influence and secure endorsement from executive and senior leadership.
- Experience managing recruitment for high-volume and diverse workforces.
- Excellent communication, relationship development, and consulting competencies.
- Capability to remain flexible and resilient amidst fast-paced, changing conditions.
- Robust organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities and stringent deadlines.
- Industry experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food production, logistics, or industrial sectors is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Australian immigration protocols, visa sponsorship, and skilled migration pathways is highly desirable.
