About the Role
This position serves as a vital link within the Human Resources & Training department at a luxury hotel in Doha, Qatar, responsible for facilitating the sourcing, attracting, and recruiting of candidates to fill open roles across the hotel. The Recruitment Executive also manages day-to-day talent acquisition and onboarding workflows while supporting broader HR initiatives to uphold the brand's reputation as an employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement talent sourcing initiatives to effectively identify and attract qualified candidates for various hotel positions.
- Maintain accurate updates to recruitment trackers, headcount monitoring, and talent databases.
- Ensure open vacancies are posted on the official Kempinski Career Site.
- Screen incoming applications, conduct preliminary interviews, and manage reference verification for shortlisted candidates.
- Maintain regular communication with Department Heads and Hiring Managers regarding recruitment progress and candidate status.
- Draft employment contracts under the supervision of HR leadership.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with candidates, recruitment agencies, and educational institutions.
- Leverage social media platforms and job portals to proactively source potential talent.
- Participate in organizing and attending career fairs, localization initiatives, and career open days to promote recruitment efforts.
- Manage high-volume recruitment coordination in partnership with external agencies as directed by HR management.
- Coordinate travel bookings, including flight arrangements for new hires.
- Oversee onboarding logistics such as airport transfers and accommodation assignments in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Prepare and distribute arrival announcements internally to relevant departments.
- Ensure new employees are warmly welcomed, complete all employment documentation, and receive a comprehensive orientation.
- Inform Department Heads and Training teams about new hire starting dates.
- Compile and hand over complete new hire documentation packages to the HR Payroll department.
- Prepare contract amendments and updated job descriptions for internal promotions.
- Assist HR leadership with additional projects such as employee engagement and various operational tasks.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated recruitment experience in a 5-star luxury hotel setting.
- Strong organizational skills paired with excellent administrative and time management abilities.
- Proficient in candidate evaluation, screening, and interviewing techniques.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact seamlessly with applicants and departmental leaders.
