About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Scientist or Electrical Engineer specialized in Electrical Engineering to join our Technology Center in Brilon, Germany, focusing on innovation within dry-type transformer development.
The role involves applying deep technical knowledge to advance and refine transformer technologies, supporting their deployment in a global context. Collaboration with internal technology centers and external partners, including universities, will be key to generating innovative solutions that ensure the company’s sustained success.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage actively in research and development projects centered on dry-type transformer technologies.
- Innovate and optimize high-voltage engineering and dielectric system solutions across international teams.
- Design and build small-scale prototypes for validating concepts.
- Lead and conduct application-focused experiments.
- Perform systematic problem analysis and formulate effective technical solutions.
- Offer scientific and technical support throughout various projects.
- Assist in transferring and applying project outcomes within operational divisions worldwide.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with specialization in Medium or High-Voltage Engineering and Dielectrics.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in transformer-related current and emerging technologies.
- Exhibit a practical, innovative approach paired with structured and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Show high levels of motivation, creativity, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Function effectively as a communicative and cooperative team member in multidisciplinary groups.
