Role Overview
This full-time, on-site Radiologist position at Erum Saba Medical Center involves performing and interpreting various diagnostic imaging methods such as X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, MRI, and mammography to aid accurate clinical decision-making. Key duties include evaluating imaging requests, selecting suitable imaging techniques, overseeing imaging procedures, and generating clear reports for referring physicians. Collaboration with medical teams through multidisciplinary discussions and providing expert advice on imaging interpretations is essential. The role also requires strict adherence to radiation safety protocols, quality assurance processes, and contributing towards continual enhancement of imaging services.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Medical degree with relevant licensure or eligibility to practice in the UAE.
- Extensive expertise in radiology with experience interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging.
- Proficiency with medical imaging technologies including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray with focus on patient safety and quality.
- Experience in mammography screening and diagnostic breast imaging aligned with guidelines and reporting standards.
- Familiarity with nuclear medicine concepts is a plus.
- Previous hospital or medical center experience with strong teamwork and clinical communication skills in English.
- Dedication to evidence-based medicine, ongoing professional development, and compliance with ethical standards.
- Ability to efficiently manage workload within a busy multidisciplinary clinical environment.
