Role Overview
We are recruiting a Quality Technician to join a cutting-edge pharmaceutical manufacturing site near Westport, County Mayo, Ireland. This is an initial 12-month contract opportunity with a global life sciences company that prioritizes research and development to innovate and supply transformative healthcare medicines. This role offers a chance to be involved in a rapidly expanding organization that is shaping the future of medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within the Quality Team to ensure achievement of quality targets and objectives.
- Maintain strict compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all tasks.
- Perform duties in the Quality Control (QC), In-Process Quality Assurance (IQA), and Metrology areas as needed.
- Conduct incoming product testing following approved specifications and protocols.
- Carry out in-process and final product release testing adhering to established procedures and standards.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
- A college-level qualification in an appropriate relevant discipline is preferred.
- Prior significant experience working in a regulated GMP environment is advantageous.
- Candidates with internship experience in GMP settings are highly regarded.
