About the Role
We are collaborating with a top UK additive manufacturing company specializing in producing premium prototypes and end-use production components for diverse industries. As the company's production scales, we seek a meticulous and organized Quality Control Technician to uphold quality standards, enforce compliance, and efficiently handle non-conforming parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing the Quality Management System.
- Process and document non-conformance records accurately.
- Record quality control testing data and maintain clear conformance documentation.
- Support inspection and quality verification throughout production stages.
- Coordinate with customers regarding updates to quality documentation or customer files.
- Ensure compliance documents and quality records are well-maintained and organized.
- Manage metrology equipment logs and assist with equipment tracking.
- Complete and review employee competency documentation.
- Support internal audits and oversee follow-up activities.
- Collaborate with Production and Operations to investigate and resolve quality concerns.
- Ensure proper identification, recording, and management of non-conforming parts.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in quality, manufacturing, production, or operations environments.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or similar Quality Management Systems is preferred; training available.
- High attention to detail with confidence handling records, spreadsheets, and technical documentation.
- Organized and methodical approach to investigating and documenting non-conformance.
- Able to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy production setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfortable interacting with Production, Operations, and customers.
- Proactive mindset and willingness to expand technical knowledge in quality and compliance.
- Capable of working independently and managing routine duties without direct supervision.

Additional Information
Location: North East London, UK
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on-site
Salary Range: £32,000–£36,000 annually (Potential flexibility for strong candidates)
