Job description
Position Overview
Join us at Packyard Labels & Packaging to influence the future of packaging quality. As a Quality Control Officer, you will ensure superior quality from the initial stages through to the finished product by implementing both routine and random quality inspections in digital and physical formats. You will document and track quality-related data diligently, serve as a key knowledge resource on quality standards, and mentor colleagues to uphold these standards.
Responsibilities
- Guarantee quality throughout the production process, from start to finish.
- Conduct systematic and sample quality checks in both digital systems and on the shop floor with proper recording and follow-up.
- Serve as a primary contact for quality requirements and standards, providing coaching to team members.
- Handle internal complaints by investigating issues collaboratively, documenting findings and corrective actions, and resolving complaints effectively.
- Where applicable, modify processes or deliver training to prevent future quality problems and continuously improve quality performance.

Candidate Profile
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree complemented by an affinity for quality assurance/control, supported by relevant studies or initial work experience.
- Knowledge of the graphic production process is advantageous but not required.
- Practical, assertive, and a skilled communicator with colleagues on the shop floor.
- Normal color vision is essential.
- Meticulous in record-keeping and administrative tasks.
- Proficient in spoken and written Dutch.
