QA Supplier Materials Representative

Job Overview

A biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative focused on supplier materials management for an initial 12-month contract. The primary responsibility is ensuring that all incoming materials comply with stringent quality, regulatory, and compliance standards required at the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control of raw materials, components, and packaging suppliers.
• Assist in qualifying, onboarding, and periodic requalification of suppliers.
• Analyze supplier quality documents, such as quality agreements, audit findings, certificates of analysis, and performance metrics.
• Lead investigations into supplier-related deviations, non-conformances, complaints, and material quality challenges.

Candidate Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or related areas.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GMP standards applicable to pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
• Experience handling supplier quality systems and conducting supplier-related investigations.
• Understanding of quality risk management concepts and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with quality management system processes including deviations, CAPA, change control, and audit management.
