QA Engineer - DCS / Baggage Handling System

Job Overview

Cinergie Digital is seeking a QA Engineer to manage manual and API-level quality checks on a critical operational platform linked to Departure Control Systems and Baggage Handling Systems. The position involves end-to-end testing of core transactional workflows, ensuring data accuracy and collaborating with development teams within an Agile setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing, including validations at API and database layers.
• Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and overall testing approaches.
• Document, identify, and monitor defects until they are resolved.
• Verify backend data integrity using SQL queries.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to guarantee delivery quality.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and help define sprint testing strategies.
• Test workflows considering practical edge cases and potential disruption scenarios.

Required Qualifications

• Between 3 to 5 years of QA experience with a strong grasp of SDLC and Agile frameworks.
• Skilled in API testing tools such as Postman and SOAP UI.
• Familiarity with PL/SQL basics and database testing procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of the Software Test Life Cycle (STLC).
• Disciplined in defect management and tracking processes.
• Hands-on experience with airline Departure Control Systems (DCS), Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), or Flight Disruption Handling software platforms.

Candidate Profile

• Proven ability to analyze problems and solve them effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable collaborating across functions with technical and product teams in Agile environments.

Additional Information

• Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
• Salary Range: AED 7,000 to AED 10,000 per month
• Experience Required: 3 to 5 years in relevant QA roles
