Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our client's team located in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience working primarily with Python backend development along with strong expertise in Apache Kafka and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs supporting business needs.
• Work extensively with Apache Kafka for messaging and event streaming.
• Utilize cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a good understanding of GCP services.
• Build scalable microservices architectures.
• Employ Python backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django in development.
• Manage databases, both SQL and NoSQL, effectively.
• Utilize containerization and version control tools like Docker and Git.
• Follow best practices for software development and deployment.

Additional Desired Expertise

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
• Experience implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Develop cloud-native applications.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions.

Candidate Preferences

Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Bangalore. Strong practical experience integrating Python with Kafka and cloud services is essential, with additional knowledge of Google Cloud Platform considered a plus.
